Pelvic health

A specialist assessment for pelvic pain, continence and core control, for men and women. We look at how your pelvic floor is working day to day, and build a plan to keep it active — for better strength and control.

Why pelvic floor strength matters

The pelvic floor does more than support bladder and bowel control — it's deeply involved in how you move, breathe and stabilise your body.
When these muscles are strong and responsive, movement feels balanced and effortless. When they're tired or under strain, you may notice stiffness, pressure or fatigue that affects posture and performance.
They act as a foundation for your centre of gravity, helping maintain alignment through the pelvis and spine so the rest of your muscles can work efficiently.
We often see what happens when the pelvic floor loses coordination — the hips, glutes or lower back start to compensate, and tension or discomfort builds over time.
We guide you through tailored routines that let the pelvic floor move naturally with the rhythm of your breath, reducing tension and improving circulation.
Over time, this builds better control, stability and confidence in everyday movement — walking, running, or simply standing tall.
Keeping the pelvic floor active isn't about intensity, it's about awareness. Small, consistent effort builds resilience, so these muscles can support you quietly, efficiently and without strain.

Questions people ask

Do I need an internal examination?

No. It can help build a fuller picture, but it's always your choice, and treatment is just as effective without one if you'd rather not.

Is this only for women?

No — pelvic pain, continence and core control affect men too, and we assess and treat both.

Is this suitable postnatal?

Yes, including after a vaginal or caesarean birth — we'll work at a pace that matches your recovery.
